Standard processes in laboratories quite often require to be cooled by chilled water. Until now, potable water has been used for this purpose; however, it is an expensive and non-environmentally friendly solution. Therefore it is becoming more and more common to install a separate supply and return of water for cooling purposes only.

The system typically consists of a tank including a cooling unit, a pump and a double tube system with chilled water flow (WCF) and respectively chilled water return (WCR). Broen can now supply all the typical point-of-use parts for such a system.
